Lt. John Stoddard (Rhodes Reason) shoots at Bronco (Ty Hardin) and is put on trial for attempted murder. During the trial, Bronco tells of a Civil War encounter in which he, a Confederate captain, clashed with Stoddard, a Union major. Suzanne plays Marcia Colby.
