This series stars Rory Calhoun as Bill Longley, a fast drawing drifter from Texas. In this episode, Big Jim Sammett's (George Macready) son Jody (Michael Macready) is killed during a stagecoach hold-up. Bill Longley assists the dead man's expecting wife Maria, (Suzanne) who has never met Big Jim. Sammett will not acknowledge Maria because she is Mexican.
